Plasma Surface Treatment Testing
Plasma Surface Treatment Testing
Considering the benefits of adding plasma surface treatment? ANDA specializes in plasma treatment applications testing. Send us your sample materials for our applications testing laboratory to perform a complimentary screening test and evaluation of the impact of vacuum or atmospheric surface plasma treatment. We can assist in determining the best form of plasma treatment for your factory operations. During testing, we measure surface energy before and after plasma treatment activation and document the differences between the two surface states. In all cases, a detailed testing report and summary of recommendations are provided to our clients.

Benefits of Plasma Treatment
Plasma surface treatment serves for removing contaminants on materials, components and substrate surfaces such as oils, silicone, oxidation, organic and inorganic compounds. It increases the surface energy on the surface of treated materials (breaking the surface tension), while also making atomic level surface modifications that increase surface area. These changes allow better wettability and stronger adhesion for applied coatings and glues to substrates that are plasma treated, making their bonds less susceptible to fail reducing factory rejects and producing higher quality materials, products, components, and PCBA’s.

AP-3 Series
The Anda AP-3 Series are advanced inline selective atmospheric plasma surface treatment machines that can accommodate dual nozzles top and bottom synchronized for simultaneous treatment or operated independently for maximized productivity.
Offline VP-Series
The Anda Offline Vacuum Plasma (VP) Series are standalone vacuum chamber plasma treatment machines. During the process, nanoparticles of gases are ionized under pressure in order to ultrafine clean all the exterior surfaces of a substrate simultaneously.
Inline VP-Series
The Anda Inline Vacuum Plasma (VP) Series allows manufactures to insert nanoparticle ultrafine vacuum plasma treatment directly into a process line for improving bonding, printing, painting, coating, or wettability on virtually any material.
